A tycoon game that a datacentre engineer would recognise.

Every simulation in this genre stops at the fun. This one keeps going. Cold air moves the way cold air moves. Heat builds where you put the load. A rack you cram to save floor space costs you in the plant room three months later. It is a real education wrapped inside a game people will play for the game.

It is designed and built by someone who has run this infrastructure for a living — which is why the details are right, and why the industry itself is part of the audience.

The infrastructure story of the decade has no game.

Datacentres are on the front page — power draw, water use, planning fights, the AI build-out. Millions of people now have an opinion about them and no idea how one actually works. Tycoon games are how a generation learned about hospitals, theme parks and cities. Nobody has built the accurate one for this.

Two audiences, one product

Simulation players want depth and consequence. Datacentre professionals want to see their job represented properly — and share it when someone finally does. The second group is small, loud, well-connected, and free to reach.

Built by the domain, not researched

The design authority is a working datacentre operator, not a studio reading white papers. Authenticity is the moat: it is the one thing a larger competitor cannot buy in quickly, and it is what the trade press will write about.

A talent-pipeline angle

The industry is short of skilled people and openly worried about it. A game that teaches how a facility really runs is a recruitment funnel with a marketing budget attached — which makes industry sponsorship a natural fit, not a favour.
